Sightseeing beautiful Tokyo from a Japanese traditional cruise

Traditional Japanese cruises that make people feel like having a time slip to the Edo period still attract many Japanese people today. This traditional culture has been inherited in Tokyo, and has been improved. Now, these traditional Japanese cruises become modern-style cruises equipped with the latest equipment like karaoke, entertaining many tourists.

At “Yagatabune Amikou”, take a tour of famous places such as Tokyo Sky Tree, Tokyo Disney Resort, Kasai Rinkai Park, and Rainbow Bridge, centering on Odaiba. It’s believed you will have a good time while enjoying the beautiful scenery of Tokyo Bay and the pleasant sea breeze! Freshly fried tempura and fresh seafood served on a traditional Japanese cruise are also attractive.

There are two courses available at "Yagatabune Amikou". Boarding fee, food and all-you-can-drink are included.

The standard "Amikou Course" has 10 dishes in total, and freshly fried tempura is recommended. Maybe many people have the image of "Yagatabune = tempura"? In the old days, fish caught by throwing nets from the cruise were made into tempura.

"Yagatabune Amikou" still offers tempura fried on board in the present day. The tempura fried inside the ship is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Even if the times change, freshly prepared dishes are the same for both Edo people and modern people at that time. It's also enjoyable to fill your mouth with fresh hot tempura while sightseeing the splendid view of Tokyo.

"Awabi (Abalone) Course" is a slightly luxurious course with fresh live abalone! "Yagatabune Amikou" visits Tsukiji fish market everyday to secure the best quality seafood and other ingredients for the customers. The abalone are cooked on a ceramic plate. If needed, you can season it with butter and soy sauce. If you want to enjoy the yagatabune most, the "Awabi (Abalone) Course" should be a good choice.
