Standing out within Azabudai Hills, Fukahireya is a Chinese restaurant created by Chef Kinya Komoda, owner-chef of the renowned “4000 Chinese Restaurant.” Specializing in premium shark fin, including the rare moushark fin, the restaurant serves dishes that showcase carefully selected ingredients. Based on Shanghai cuisine yet enriched with Japanese seasonality and food culture, the menu represents a unique, refined style. A must-try indulgence is the Dried Abalone & Grilled Shark Fin Course (¥36,300 incl. tax). Alongside delicacies such as Yoshihama abalone, Beijing duck, and lobster, it features grilled shark fin, whose crispy surface and firm bite are elevated by a rich, slow-simmered broth. Every two months, new seasonal course menus are introduced, ensuring each visit offers fresh surprises. À la carte dishes are also available, allowing guests to tailor their dining experience. The restaurant’s signature Premium Shark Fin Soba uses the tail fin of moushark, offering a luxurious texture that melts into the thick, savory broth.
