A music bar experience to enjoy empty-handed
Just a short walk from the west exit of Kanda Station, in the basement of a red-brick building, lies “Music BAR On Stage 2nd,” a hideaway music bar where music lovers naturally gather.
The venue is equipped with gear such as acoustic and electric guitars, bass, drums, and keyboard, so you can casually enjoy performing even empty-handed.
It is recommended not only for those who want to enjoy a session but also for those who want to relax with a drink while listening to the performances. A music bar where you can spend time as you please, enjoying music played on records and CDs.
After entering, first choose either the 〈With singing/performance〉 or 〈Bar use〉 plan and let the staff know.
Performance flow
1. Tell the staff the song you want to perform
2. Recruit performing members within the venue (staff may also join the performance)
3. Performance begins
Lyrics and chords are displayed on the monitor, so even people touching an instrument after a long time or beginners can join with peace of mind.
The performances and conversations that arise on the spot pleasantly overlap, and you can experience a sense of unity unique to this place.
* When touching or playing instruments, always speak to the staff first.
In between, you'll also want to enjoy the carefully selected drinks and food.
There is a wide range of whisky, cocktails, beer, and more, and the lineup also includes popular Japanese whiskies such as Yamazaki and Hakushu.
The recommendation is the 〈Staff Minami's Spice Curry〉. It is a popular dish where the savoriness of slowly simmered chicken overlaps with the appetite-stimulating aroma of spices, and a deep richness spreads with every bite. It can also be ordered without rice as a snack.
Also, what you'll want to pair with the curry is the 〈Sansho Sour〉 (Japanese pepper sour) ¥770 (tax incl.). Its refreshing aroma and crisp aftertaste go perfectly with the curry.
Your ears, your stomach, and your heart are sure to be satisfied.
The interior is a warm space based on red brick and wood, with a comfortable, secret-base-like appeal. It offers everything from counter seats and table seats to sofa seats and a standing space, accommodating a wide range from solo drinking to group use.
You can spend time leisurely while listening to records and CDs, or you can pluck a guitar at your seat. If there is an instrument you'd like to try, the staff can guide you if you consult with them.
Conversations with the friendly staff are also pleasant, and you can naturally relax.
Why not spend time immersing yourself in music as you please, enveloped in drinks and music?
