This is a restaurant that specialises in serving Japanese ingredients cooked by the Robata grilling style over a hearth. Carefully selected white polished rice, and seasonal ingredient dishes can be enjoyed here; the food is sure to please those who visit.. The Japanese style relaxed interior is also sure to make one forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The standard 'Omakase course' (5,750 yen) begins with three appetizers and includes 8 dishes such as Sashimi, boiled dishes and dishes flavoured with vinegar. The Fish cakes (Satsuma Age) are carefully prepared and fried after the order is received, allowing the flavour to shine to its full extent. Please enjoy the freshly fried dish. The dish of fish salted and dried overnight, is the restaurants specialty dish.

The rice preparedd in a pot is the restaurants most recommended; eating it with the deliciously scented truffle and raw egg yolk soaked in soy sauce is also highly recommended. Each dish, prepared to showcase each ingredients natural and quality taste, is great and will leave you wanting more. Please enjoy the dishes which will change depending on the day and the season you visit, and pair it with the Japanese Sake and Spirits.

The rice prepared in a pot, made from carefully selected grains is a great dish and a must try, however, please also try the Foie gras rice, an experience that is that one rank higher. A typical French dish, one of the three world's greatest delicacies is prepared with the Japanese heart; rice. The decadent foie gras flavour, along with the green onions and the perfectly chosen rice create that perfectly balanced harmony. This is a flavour in which one can only enjoy at this restaurant .

On the a la carte menu, there are also grilled fish dishes available such as golden snapper or Nodoguro. Please let our staff know if you wish to try these dishes. Apart from Japanese Sake, there are also wines and champagnes available; please enjoy by pairing with your dishes.

The restaurant 'Ore no Sumi' is located an eight minute walk from Roppongi station. The interior is Japanese styled and as one steps inside, the smell of the vegetables and dried foods being cooked on the hearth is welcoming and inviting to the senses. At the counter seats, customers can enjoy conversations with the master chef, and the table seats allow for a private time spent.
