Inokashira Park is one of the most famous cherry blossom spots in Tokyo, with 400 "Someiyoshino" and "Yamazakura" in total signaling the arrival of spring every year. The park is centered around a pond that was used as the water source for the first water supply to Kanda Josui, which was drawn to Edo, and has a history of being first opened in Japan as a suburban park in 1917. It is also a popular sightseeing spot in autumn as the lush greeneries turn into a colorful palette of red, orange, and yellow.
