A hidden spot for adults where champagne lovers gather

"champagne J." is a champagne bar in the upscale area of Minami Aoyama that has attracted many fans. They offer a staggering 140 or more types of champagne at all times. The owner, Junko Endo, had a rare career change from the architecture industry and has on-site visits to the champagne region for over 10 years. She provides a simple course along with a glass of champagne to share her knowledge with as many people as possible. They also offer non-alcoholic drinks for those who don't drink. Whether you're a champagne enthusiast or new to it, come and enjoy this adult hideaway.

  • "Champagne glass of the Day" Chardonnay Pinot Meunier price ranges from 2200 yen to 3300 yen (incl. tax).

  • "3 Glass Experience" 6600 yen (tax included) where you can compare and taste three different glasses of champagne.

  • "Juice Made From Wine-use-grapes" Non-alcohol drink 1600 yen (Incl. tax)

"Today's glass of Champagne" is selected based on each grape variety's unique taste, with Chardonnay having a refreshing taste, Pinot having a rich and deep flavor, and Meunier having a more robust bitterness. You can order this menu for your first drink, try a few flavors and select your favorite.

The "3 Glass Experience" is a unique menu that allows customers to compare and contrast the three varieties of Champagne (Chardonnay, Pinot, and Meunier) with descriptions of each.

"Juice Made From Wine-use-grapes" is a popular non-alcoholic option made from wine grapes, offering a full-bodied flavor and aroma. It's a great choice for those who don't like alcohol or designated drivers.

  • "Alfred-gratien" 17,000 yen (tax included) - A classic for connoisseurs.

  • "Charlier bacchus" 20,000 yen (tax included) - A rich and concentrated taste that is truly appreciated by connoisseurs.

  • "A. Levasseur blanc&Noir de Terroir" 22,000 yen each (tax included).

For Champagne beginners, we recommend trying the "Alfred-gratien" menu, which has a soft foam and a calm, adult flavor that both connoisseurs and beginners will find very pleasant to drink.

"Charlier bacchus" has a complex taste using three kinds of grapes and has a deep taste due to barrel aging. The fine foam and a hint of vanilla sweetness are addictive. Try drinking various menus to train your taste.

For connoisseurs, how about trying "A.Levasseur blanc&Noir de Terroir"? The technique of tying corks with rope was once a commonplace. But areas where this traditional craftsmanship can be done are becoming lesser and lesser nowadays. How about comparing the tastes of two bottles of champagne, one with Chardonnay 100 Blanc de Terroir and one with Pinot 100 Blanc de Noirs, both produced from Meunier grapes grown from the soil of terroir.

  • Relax like visiting a friend's house

  • Stylish hidden bar in the city

  • Colorful selection of Champagne

The interior design of "champagne J." was actually done by the owner, who originally worked in the construction industry. The owner transformed the space into a relaxed, adult atmosphere where one can truly enjoy champagne. The off-white counter, made of artificial marble, was custom-made to make it easy to see the colors of the champagne. If you visit with someone special, spending a romantic time on the terrace is recommended. Enjoy the delicate taste of champagne while watching the beautiful sunset. Rare, high-end champagnes are ordered by bottles.
