A hidden bistro in which customers can enjoy fragrant charcoal grilled food made from seasonal ingredients

Located in a convenient area, only a two minute walk from Roppongi station, is 'Izu no Kura'. The food is prepared by a chef whom trained in a well renown French restaurant in Tokyo. You can experience a luxurious time here, whilst you are served a course of carefully selected ingredients by the chef, which includes Japanese Black Beef (Kuroge Wagyu) and seasonal ingredients.

Another special feature is that customers can enjoy game meat procured from the Izu Peninsula. The chef prepares the meat with skill and technique turning it into food that tastes luxurious, in which even beginners to game meat can enjoy. Founded in Shuzenji in Izu, Izu no Kura now has reached a new stage here in Roppongi, after previously being in Hakone as well. Why not enjoy the rich Japanese food culture here at this special place?

From here we will introduce the courses. First is 'The Chef's course'. This is a full course which includes seven luxurious dishes, including seasonal fish, charcoal grilled foods, the store's specialty bread and dessert. This is a very popular course with Japanese Black Beef, fresh seafood, and seasonal vegetables in which customers can enjoy carefully selected ingredients to the fullest.

For the main dish, rare game meat from the Izu peninsula is also available, besides the Japanese Black Beef. The game meat prepared by the chef has a mild flavor and is both tender and fragrant. The final dish of the course, is the chef's specialty dessert, which allows customers to enjoy a luxurious time until the very end. Please enjoy a special time here, on anniversaries or even for business dinners.

The 'Special course', which includes the wide use of seasonal ingredients, is very popular among those for girl's night catch-ups and formal dinners. From the Japanese Black Beef to the in-season vegetables to appetizers and dessert, the chef's specially prepared dishes bring out the best of each ingredient. For those who like game meats, the 'Special Game Meat course' is not to be missed. It is also possible to ask for your favourite game meat.

Each main dish in the courses, come with plenty of vegetables and the chef's specialty French sauce, both of which bring out the flavour and umami of each meat. The sauces made from vegetables, such as Wasabi, Shiitake mushroom, garland chrysanthemum, burdock root, etc, allow the rich flavour of the dish. In addition, there are a vast array of carefully selected wines for customers to choose from, and bottles are prepared at reasonable prices.
