An Italian restaurant known for authentic stone-oven pizza and a dreamlike, fairytale atmosphere

"FAVETTA" is an Italian restaurant just steps from the bustle of Shinjuku's Kabukicho, where dining feels like wandering into the world of a fairytale. The interior, themed around Italian fairytales, colors the space and creates a special moment that delights the eyes as much as the palate.

Its appeal lies in casually savoring authentic flavors—from genuine Neapolitan pizza baked in a stone oven with ingredients imported from Italy, to pasta, Italian wines, and dolce (Italian desserts).

In a calm, relaxed atmosphere, it is a place where you can enjoy a leisurely meal even between sightseeing and shopping.

  • "Margherita" 2,000 yen (tax included)
A classic dish that brings out the natural deliciousness of its ingredients

  • "Shinjuku Rossa" 2,100 yen (tax included)
An original pizza made with Naito togarashi (a chili pepper native to the Shinjuku area), a local specialty that sparked a huge craze during the Edo period

  • Enjoy a wide variety of flavors, from classic and original pizzas to seasonal limited editions

  • Carefully selected wines that complement authentic Italian cuisine

The signature offering is authentic Neapolitan pizza baked in a stone oven imported directly from Naples. Baked quickly at temperatures exceeding 400°C, the crust turns fragrant and crisp on the outside while staying chewy and light inside.
"Margherita" is a popular choice that lets you simply enjoy the natural umami of the ingredients.
"Shinjuku Rossa" is an original pizza accented by the mild spiciness of Naito togarashi (a traditional chili pepper associated with Shinjuku), combined with salsiccia, mini tomatoes, and mozzarella cheese. The aroma of spices and the umami of the ingredients layer together for a flavor you can enjoy only here.

For drinks, the lineup is extensive—from fresh "draft wine" barreled in Italy to extra-cold beer, cocktails, and soft drinks. A great-value all-you-can-drink plan is also available, letting you casually enjoy authentic Italian dining.

  • "Bolognese with Domestic Ground Beef" 2,000 yen (tax included)
A deep flavor woven by slowly simmered domestic beef

  • "Assorted Cheese Platter" 1,200 yen (tax included)
An assortment of Italian cheeses, each offering its own distinct flavor and texture

  • "Tagliata of Domestic Beef" 3,800 yen (tax included)
A traditional Italian meat dish of thinly sliced beef, seared fragrant on the outside and left rare inside

  • "Small Shrimp Ajillo" 1,480 yen (tax included)
An appetizing ajillo brimming with umami

  • "Homemade Tiramisù" 800 yen (tax included)
A variety of homemade dolce, starting with tiramisù

Beyond pizza, the menu offers a full lineup of pasta and à la carte dishes made with carefully chosen ingredients and sauces.
From bolognese with its rich umami to an assortment of Italian cheeses and tender Tagliata of domestic beef, the dishes are crafted to pair well with wine. To finish, the homemade tiramisù, with its smooth melt-in-the-mouth texture and pleasant hint of bitterness, is also recommended.

  • An interior with a striking, playful design

  • A heart-easing moment spent with wine

  • Spacious sofa seats where you can fully relax

Although conveniently located just near the gate of Kabukicho Ichibangai, one step inside reveals a calm space that makes you forget the hustle and bustle of the city. The seats are spaced generously apart, making it perfect for a short break or a meal with a group.

The charming staff uniforms and interior, which express the world of fairytales, can be enjoyed at both counter and sofa seats, adding a touch of splendor to your dining experience.

With reasonable prices and attentive service, it is a popular restaurant that draws many repeat visitors from Japan and abroad. Service in foreign languages is also available—a place well worth stopping by during your Shinjuku sightseeing.
