The best yakiniku restaurant where you can feel the soul of Kyushu.
While in Tokyo, you can enjoy the taste of Kyushu at "Yakiniku Kyukon". The restaurant is located about a 5-minute walk from Meguro Station. The chef, Kensaku Yamase, carefully prepares the truly delicious meat that he found by visiting farms.
He comes from a ranch family and calls himself a "meat master", a true professional in the meat industry. His dish, filled with Yamase's love for his hometown, is something you should try at least once in your lifetime. By the way, the name "Kyukon" means "the soul of Kyushu". If you savor the meat dishes made with the utmost quality, you may suddenly feel homesick and miss the food from your hometown.
The "Kumamoto Kikuchi Course" is a popular course menu where you can enjoy delicious grilled meat at an affordable price under 10,000 yen. It includes salad, meat appetizers, a variety of grilled meats, Kyukon meat sushi, Kyukon chunk meat, yaki-shabu(briefly grilled) of marbled meat, Kyukon rice dish, and dessert.
The "Kyukon Course" is a luxurious course menu where you can feel the meat master's seriousness. In addition to appetizers and finishing dishes, a variety of meat dishes such as shabu-shabu, grilled meat, and sukiyaki are provided. Only the highest quality meats are served, so you can experience a deliciousness like never before.
Here are some à la carte menu items. The "Running Pig" 3-variety Assortment (3 pieces each)" features plenty of pasture-raised "Running Pig" pork in Kikuchi City, Kumamoto. The flavor of the pork, which is raised with care at an elevation of 400 meters, is a must-try.
If you like offal, how about the "Seared Beef Liver Steak "? The beef liver is quickly seared and generously topped with scallion sauce, allowing the fresh liver flavor to spread throughout your mouth.
For those who want to try a popular cut of meat, the "Aitchbone" is the way to go. The top sirloin is a cut from the tip of the buttocks, and its texture and chewiness are both noteworthy points.
Upon descending the stairs to the basement, you will notice the stylish and moody appearance and interior design that doesn't look like a typical yakiniku restaurant. The seating options include counter seats and table seats. It's surprising that the lighting colors and brightness are adjusted according to the time of day.
It's suitable for various occasions such as dates, girls' night out, family dinners, business entertainment, and group meals. The meat dishes are of course excellent, and the wine produced by the sommelier and the authentic desserts made by the pastry chef are also high-quality. You can also enjoy colorful and beautiful cocktails like those served in bars.
