The finest authentic Edomae-zushi in Ginza
Sushi Keika is located in Ginza, where many famous restaurants stand side by side. Sushi Keika offers exquisite sushi using fresh seafood purchased from the Toyosu Market every morning and carefully selected rice and vinegars. In addition to the delicious nigiri, the "snacks" are also excellent. The 〈Chef's Course〉 ¥22,000 (tax included) offers a blissful experience with a selection of sake to match the ingredients and the way you eat them. Enjoy a luxurious time of dining in a relaxed manner while watching the craftsmanship of the chefs over the counter. How about an experience of encountering the "real thing" in Ginza?
Sushi Keika offers only one course, the 〈Chef's Course〉, priced at ¥22,000 (tax included). The course consists of 17 to 18 dishes including nigiri, sashimi, a la carte dishes, miso soup, and snacks. (The number of dishes and ingredients vary depending on the season and the availability of ingredients.) The owner, who hails from Hokkaido, carefully prepares a variety of sushi and snacks with a simple yet elegant flavor that captivates visitors. The freshness of the sushi is essential, and he serves it with exquisite timing so that you can enjoy it at a comfortable pace. The ability to serve seasonal ingredients in their best condition is the result of the chefs' thorough knowledge of the quality of the ingredients. In addition to nigiri, a la carte dishes such as red kidney beans and simmered Hokkaido sea slugs are also exceptional. We hope you will enjoy the supreme course that can only be enjoyed at this time of the year.
Another reason for Sushi Keika's popularity is the sake pairings suggested by the staff to go along with the owner's nigiri and snacks. Pairings are difficult because the Chef's course makes the most of seasonal ingredients. The staff takes into consideration not only the ingredients and how to eat them, but also the customer's preferences when making a selection, so even those who are not so familiar with sake can leave the selection to the staff. Among the six or seven types of sake available at any given time, one of the most interesting is "Tsumatsumatsu," a special sake for sushi, supervised by a sushi chef from Hokkaido. It has a refreshing taste that goes well with sushi as well as other snacks. Please enjoy this superb drink that enhances the flavor of your food.
Sushi Keika is conveniently located a five-minute walk from the Ginza Exit of JR Shimbashi Station. Located on the second floor of a building, with no conspicuous signage, it is a well-known restaurant among those in the know that is perfectly suited to the term "adult hideout". Stepping into the purely Japanese-style restaurant, one is greeted by a counter seat made of a single piece of white wood. From these special seats, which are limited to eight people, you can closely observe the craftsmanship of the chefs and experience the hearty hospitality of the chef. The restaurant can be used for various occasions, including anniversaries spent with loved ones, dinner parties, and to create memories when visiting Ginza for sightseeing. The restaurant can be used for a variety of occasions.
