"Furutori" is a restaurant in Nihonbashi specializing in tiger globefish and soft-shelled turtles.
This restaurant is committed to only the best natural tiger globefish in Japan, landed in the Bungo Suido from Oita and Ehime prefectures.
The original "Nimai Hiki" (fillet method) of globefish sashimi, which is cut with a knife of just the right thickness and size, spreads the concentrated flavor in the mouth, and is a Furutori original sashimi cut that cannot be tasted at other restaurants.

〈Natural soft-shelled turtles Course〉 using natural soft-shelled turtles from Kagoshima and Kumamoto Prefectures is available for 28600 yen (tax included). The appetizers and sashimi change according to the season.
The round pot of carefully prepped soft-shelled turtles, slowly simmered in water, sake, and Rishiri kelp, with ginger and white onion carefully cooked to remove the scum, is a true masterpiece with a rich flavor.
You will surely be captivated by the soothing and gentle flavor that warms your body from the core.
This course can be enjoyed with our specialty globefish sashimi and fry.
From summer to fall, they also accept reservations for courses using high quality natural eel.
