A 1 minute walk from Kojimachi station. Sushi Yamato serves authentic sushi made by a Master who spent many years studying at a famous shop in Ginza. Each prepared course is made from carefully selected ingredients purchased on the day. There are many types of sushi offered, and the number one recommendation is the raw uni (sea urchin). The moment you put it in your mouth, you can enjoy the taste of the ocean, the rich and decadent flavor and the elegant sweetness. Customers can enjoy the relaxing yet luxurious atmosphere of the shop, as well as the skillful techniques of the Master, whilst eating authentic Edomae sushi. There is no doubt that the food here will make your special day, even more special. Please enjoy an irreplaceable experience at Sushi Yamato.

At Sushi Yamato, the following two courses are offered: 1. The Lunch Nigiri Course for 11,000 yen (tax included). 2.Dinner course : 22,000 yen (tax included) . There are also single items besides the above courses which can be ordered. We use fresh fish from Toyosu and two types of blended rice. Customers can enjoy a range of top quality sushi; lean tuna from Oma; rich in nutrients, has the rich taste of meat and a rich aroma or Anago (conger eel) which is in season from May to August, is crisp on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside and can be enjoyed with the Masters special sweet-sauce and salt. Another dish that can be enjoyed is horse mackerel from Awaji which is fished one by one, and is not only fresh on the outside but in its entirety. Rare fish, such as Chum salmon (Keiji) or gizzard shad (Kohada) (also known as "sparkling diamond") are also readily available at Sushi Yamato. Please enjoy the many types of top class sushi.

If you choose to dine here, pairing your meal with the great variety of alcoholic beverages, is recommended. Sushi Yamato, particularly prides itself in its array of Sake; from unusual and hard to find sakes, pairing with the Sushi and other dishes is highly recommended. Yamato's popularity stems from the many different ways in which one can enjoy their meal there. Customers can be assured, the masters' appetizers can leave just as much an impression as the Sushi itself. The dish for example; a beautifully presented dish, with the use of 'purple Uni' (purple sea-urchin) and snow crab, both decadent and fresh, is a dish customers are sure to enjoy. The luxurious (fatty tuna steak) is also another prized dish customers can enjoy; the fish is slowly cooked and offers a different experience to the Sushi. Please enjoy your meal with high quality artisinal plates and glasses.

A 1 minute walk from Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Lines [Kojimachi station] (Exit number 3). Also easily accessible by foot from Yotsuya station, Sushi Yamato is located in a convenient location. The location of the shop itself, is an area rich in arts and history, where one can also enjoy greenery and nature whilst still being in the bustling city centre. The interior of Sushi Yamato is decorated black; allowing for a modern and luxurious atmosphere. At SUshi Yamato, one is able to experience the Master making Sushi at close proximity, whilst relaxing nearby, by the wood counter.
