Enjoy excellent vegan food whilst taking in the view of the city of Asakusa

A five minute walk from Asakusa stations, is 'Vegan Eat Tokyo'. There is no use of animal products and customers who cannot consume animal products due to their religious beliefs can enjoy their meal knowing it is all animal-free (cruelty-free).

All products used within the restaurant are organic; the vegetables especially are procured from an organic grocer; all fresh and carefully picked. The dishes are prepared and supervised by a French chef who has made a name for himself in the media, and each dish is exquisite. We also cater to special requests such as menus without the five pungent roots.

  • Lotus root hamburger steak

  • Chickpea tomato stew

  • Cutlet style of wheat gluten

  • Curry with grilled vegetable

  • Banana and coconut pound cake

The menus at 'Vegan Eat Tokyo' is created so as those who are vegan and those who are not, can enjoy. Our most popular dish is the 'Lotus root hamburger steak' , which uses soybean meat lotus root to make a light and fluffy hamburger patty with miso and tomato sauce; it is a must try. 'Wheat gluten; Cutlet Style ' is a crispy cutlet with a hint of rosemary, matched perfectly with tomato sauce. It will make those who try it, hooked.

The dessert line-up is also vast; the 'Banana and coconut pound cake' uses no preservatives and is slightly sweet, with a generous amount of banana and coconut used. There are other items on the menu which those who are vegan can enjoy without a worry, as well as those who are looking out for their health.

  • 32 Via Dai Birrai

  • Vegan Beers

  • Vegan Japanese Sake

  • Vegan Beer Menu

  • Vegab-Friendly Drinks

At 'Vegan Eat Tokyo', there is a vast array of drinks that are animal free/cruelty free on offer. The top recommendation is the '32 Via Dei Birrai' craft beer. This beer has attained authentication that it is 'OK for vegans' and is prepared in a manner that is cautious to the environment with use of recycled materials and the reduction of CO2 emissions. It is not only kind to the environment but its excellent flavour is sure to be enjoyed.
